Hand knit baby blanket, knit by holding two strands of yarn and knitting them together. I used twice as much yarn to knit this blanket, which makes it twice as warm and cozy. Heirloom quality piece, made in Canada.

This is my favourite blanket that I have listed in my shop. I love the colours and how soft this blanket is. It has a beautiful all over texture and the way it feels is amazing. This blanket is large enough to be used as a living room throw.

I used a premium, soft, acrylic yarn for a few reasons. I believe that acrylic is the perfect choice for a baby blanket. Babies can have allergies to wool and animal fibres like alpaca and sheep which can cause some terrible rashes/hives etc. This blanket is soft, not scratchy at all. Also, for ease of care. This blanket can be machine washed and dried on low settings. No real special care required.
